An Artist Without A Studio

Updated: Jul 22, 2021

Over the last 18 months my family and I have gone through various transitions. We've moved, lived in a van, traveled, rented an apartment, and then purchased our first home in Bayfield, WI. I feel incredibly grateful and grounded to have our own space in the woods alongside Lake Superior. During our first viewing of the property, I stepped into the outbuilding in the yard and knew it was my studio. It was dust covered and full of trinkets but the high ceiling and cement floor was all I had been looking for.

We are still in the process of renovating the space, and I will have more images to share once we are further along. For now, it's a relief to be surrounded by white walls designated for creativity.

An artist without a studio wanders until their space is found.
